“We are always trying to build toward better representation with the [LGBTQ] team and more support for the team,” Patton said. “We’re just pleased to have this happen, especially in Satisfaction Month.”
Gilberg said the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach provides about 25,000 people per year through an after-school young people program, older alternatives, family attack alternatives [and] mental-health assistance.
“Having a vehicle that is all ours,” he described, “is really going to allow us to make sure our clients– the folks that are in the most need– are going to be able to get to where they need to go and link to the alternatives they need to inspire themselves to live their way of life to the utmost.”
